Join us for “An Evening of Gratitude Under the Stars” with great music, food, drink, and company at the Elk Grove Food Bank Services Harvest of Hope Gala. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 6 to 10 pm, at the Sheldon Inn. Our guests will enjoy a special performance by artist David Garibaldi, along with entertainment, fabulous food, and a special presentation to honor retired District 5 Supervisor Don Nottoli. Mark Hedlund will preside over the evening’s activities, which will include a live auction conducted by Auctioneer Pat Hume, Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. This is an event that you don’t want to miss! Proceeds for this event benefit the programs of Elk Grove Food Bank Services (EGFBS). In 2022, EGFBS provided food equivalent to more than 1,519,000 meals to more than 160,000 people, along with clothing to 38,639 people, including children and the homeless. The largest increase in need was among children and seniors. Children accounted for 26.56% and seniors represented 30.21% of those served in 2022. Please join us on September 9 as we “Fill the Need. Feed the Hope.”

Featuring Artist David Garibaldi

David Garibaldi is passionate about his art, and we are so excited to have him perform at this year’s Harvest of Hope Gala! David has combined paint, music, and entertainment to wow audiences around the globe. As the opener for KISS on their final world tour, David’s paintings help raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities. A former student at Sheldon High School, David says, “My whole journey has been about using my platform to not only entertain but to also benefit people along the way.”
